The death of a loved one is one of the most painful, stressful, and difficult experiences in life. The closer the survivor was to the deceased, the greater the suffering is likely to be. And sadly, grief is a long term process for which there is no shortcut.
However, bereavement, though difficult, is a natural human process for healing after loss, and for refocusing life’s purposes and goals in light of that loss.
At Serenity Hospice & Palliative Care we offer bereavement support services for families and community members in need of grief support, following the loss of a loved one. These services may include one-on-one visits, well check phone calls, bereavement mailings (for up to 13 months after a loss), and additional resources or referrals to providers in your area.
Our bereavement coordinator is available to facilitate support groups or help those who are grieving find support groups in their area that will meet their needs (In Arizona or out of state).
